Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning

The Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning provides learners with an in-depth understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children and young people in school and college environments.

As learners need to show competence in both skills and knowledge, they will need to be working or be on a practical placement during the duration of the taught programme of study in a learning environment (school or college).

Participants must be aged 16 or older. There are no entry barriers on grounds of gender, race, creed or previous academic attainment or learning. The units of this qualification describe the level and breadth of performance expected of anyone working in this area.
